How much does a ride with Careavan cost?
Our pricing includes a base loading fee plus mileage. We offer three service levels:
Ambulatory: For those who can walk with or without assistance.
Wheelchair Transport: Safe and comfortable for those using a wheelchair.
Broad Chair: A great alternative to stretcher transport.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit or credit card payments over the phone at the time of booking. We do not accept cash or checks.
Who can book a ride with Careavan?
Anyone! There are no special requirements to book a trip.
Will I be sharing my ride with other passengers?
No. We do not coload passengers. Your ride is private. A family member or caregiver may ride with you at no extra charge.
Will my insurance cover it?
Insurance coverage varies, so we recommend checking with your provider first. If they cover transportation and are contracted with us, they’ll send your trip request to us directly.
How much notice do you need to schedule a ride?
We ask for 24-48 hours’ notice whenever possible. However, we understand that last-minute trips happen, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Where will Careavan take me?
We’ll take you wherever you need to go—whether it’s a medical appointment, dialysis, a wedding, a funeral, a grocery run, or a holiday gathering.
